MAS Movement Pilates – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to MAS Movement Pilates (“MAS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing a membership, booking a class, or participating in any of our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Membership Options
- 1 Session per Week – $180/month
- 2 Sessions per Week – $324/month
- 3 Sessions per Week – $459/month
All memberships are billed monthly and must be prepaid.
2. Class Access
- Clients may book sessions according to their membership tier.
- All bookings are subject to availability.
3. Maximum Class Size
- Small group sessions are limited to a maximum of 3 clients to ensure individualized attention.
4. Studio Etiquette
- Please arrive on time and wear appropriate attire.
- Socks with grips are recommended for hygiene and safety.
5. Entry Requirements
- A valid membership or prepaid session credit must be presented before participating in any class.
6. Age Restrictions
- Clients must be 18 years or older.
- Exceptions may be granted with written parental/guardian consent.
7. Cooling-Off Period (California Compliance)
- You have 5 business days (as required under California Health Studio Services Contract Law) from the date of your first purchase to cancel your membership and receive a full refund, minus any classes attended.
8. Membership Cancellations
- Ongoing memberships renew automatically each month.
- You may cancel by providing 14 days’ notice prior to your next billing date.
- MAS reserves the right to terminate memberships at its discretion, but will refund any unused, prepaid sessions.
9. Late Cancellations & No-Shows
- Classes canceled less than 12 hours before the scheduled start time will be charged as used.
- No-shows will also count as a used session.
10. Refunds
- Except as outlined in the Cooling-Off policy or Results-Based Guarantee, all fees are non-refundable.
11. Assumption of Risk & Medical Clearance
- You acknowledge that Pilates, fitness, and movement training involve inherent risks.
- You represent that you are physically fit and have consulted your physician before participation.
- MAS is not responsible for injuries sustained if you fail to follow instructions or disclose relevant health conditions.
12. Online & At-Home Sessions
- If you participate in a remote class, you accept full responsibility for ensuring a safe workout environment.
- MAS is not liable for injuries sustained due to unsafe home setups, distractions, or misuse of equipment.
13. Third-Party Providers
- Occasionally, independent instructors, therapists, or other professionals may provide services.
- MAS does not guarantee, endorse, or assume responsibility for the qualifications, safety, or outcomes of such providers.
14. Results-Based Guarantee
We are confident in our system and offer a 30-day Results-Based Guarantee:
- If you attend all scheduled classes in your plan for 30 days, follow the program, and do not experience measurable progress (such as strength, flexibility, or reduced pain), you may request a refund.
- Results may vary. This guarantee does not replace medical treatment or professional healthcare.
15. Limitation of Liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, MAS is not liable for damages arising from participation, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
16. Privacy & Data Use
- By joining MAS, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which governs how your data is collected, used, and stored.
17. Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

- Identifiers: name, email, phone, address.
- Commercial Information: service purchases, payment history.
- Health Information: injury history, medical notes, exercise modifications (used solely for programming).
- Internet Activity: browsing behavior on our website, social media interactions.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (COPPA compliance). Clients under 16 must have parental consent.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To provide services, schedule classes, and process payments.
- To tailor programs to your health and fitness needs.
- To communicate updates, promotions, and client resources.
- To improve our website and services.
3. Google Analytics & Meta Pixel Tracking
We use Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel to understand how visitors interact with our website and to improve marketing efforts.
- These tools may collect anonymized information such as pages visited, time spent on site, and interactions with ads.
- This may include cross-device tracking and ad targeting.
- You can opt out of Google Analytics by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- You can manage Meta advertising preferences via your Facebook ad settings.
4. Sharing of Data
We do not sell your data. We may share with:
- Payment processors (e.g., Stripe, MINDBODY).
- Service providers (e.g., scheduling software, email platforms).
- Legal authorities if required by law.
5. Data Retention
We retain data for as long as you are a client and up to 2 years after your last interaction. Health information is stored securely and only used for exercise programming.
6. Your Rights
- California Residents (CCPA/CPRA): You may request disclosure, correction, or deletion of your personal data.
- GDPR Residents (EU/UK): You have rights to access, restrict, or erase your data.
